Delta Drilling Company OJSC was founded in 1990. For 35 years, it has been a powerful contractor in the field of pile foundation construction. CFA technology (Continuous Hollow Auger) combines the advantages of cast-in-place piles without soil extraction and the versatility of bored piles. The drilling method allows for the construction of piles in various types of soil, dry or swampy, loose or dense soil, as well as in soft rocks, tuff, limestone, sandstone, etc. There is no impact or vibration during operation. The system equipment is equipped with a soundproofing system, which allows for drilling operations to be carried out in city centers in accordance with legal requirements.

Bored piles protected by a casing pipe with a Kelly rod. According to this technology (in foreign practice “casing”), the casing pipe is driven in by a rotary tool through a clamp fixed to the pipe and simultaneously pressed in by a hydraulic jack. The casing pipe consists of several rigidly connected sections. As the pipe is driven in, the soil is extracted from it by an auger and the next section is built up. The auger is fixed to the end of a telescopic Kelly rod, which is extended as the well deepens.

DDS technology (Drilling Displacement System — DDS or full displacement pile — FDP) is based on the principle of well rolling, i.e. it is arranged without soil excavation, with the compaction of the well walls, by using a working element - a roller. A continuous process of forming a cylindrical cavity in the soil occurs by its deformation and compaction by the rolling mechanism into the well walls. Due to this, a compacted soil zone is formed around the well.

CSP technology (Cased Secant Piles). This technology is used in soils with weak bearing capacity and involves the use of drilling rigs equipped with a double rotary with a capacity of at least 250 kN/m. It is a combination of two technologies for constructing bored piles - the use of a continuous hollow auger (CFA technology) using casing pipes, which allows for the construction of foundations without bentonite mortar in any soil conditions, including weak and waterlogged ones.

Pile foundations with pneumatic impact equipment in rocky soils. The main working unit of this type of equipment is a pneumatic impact tool, which is attached directly to the drill rod. Its operating principle is based on the conversion of compressed air energy into reciprocating movements of the downhole tool. Under the influence of the created impact loads, the destruction of rocks occurs. It is the drilling with a pneumatic impact tool for piles that allows for high rates of penetration, regardless of the soil characteristics. This technology was developed for the construction of boreholes in rocky soils. High efficiency and simple design of the equipment ensured a wide range of application of the technology in civil engineering, geological exploration, and mining operations.

Installation of piles in permafrost soils. For pile driving, special installations from Bauer are used, equipped with diesel or hydraulic hammers, as well as rotators with augers. These machines work in pairs (complex): one carries out leader drilling and immersion of the finished metal pile, the other then drives the pile to the design mark. Bauer drilling machines also have the ability to press the pile without driving it to a certain force.

The use of the above technologies implies constant renewal of the drilling rig fleet and its equipping with advanced drilling equipment.
