KAZBUILD 2026: ARCHITECTURE OF THE FUTURE, INNOVATION, AND NEW RULES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
KAZAKHSTAN’S CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY CONTINUES TO DEMONSTRATE STEADY GROWTH, REMAINING ONE OF THE KEY DRIVERS OF THE NATIONAL ECONOMY.
Against this backdrop, Kazakhstan is strengthening its position as one of the most promising construction markets in Central Asia, while professional industry events are becoming an important platform for international cooperation, technology transfer, and business networking. For more than three decades, KazBuild—the largest international construction and interior exhibition in Kazakhstan—has been fulfilling precisely this role.
From September 2 to 4, 2026, Almaty will host the 32nd Kazakhstan International Construction and Interior Exhibition, KazBuild 2026, once again bringing together manufacturers and suppliers of construction materials and equipment, development companies, design organizations, distributors, and industry experts.
The 2026 exhibition will showcase the full spectrum of products and technologies for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure construction. Visitors will be introduced to construction and finishing materials, window and facade solutions, equipment, tools, interior products, as well as innovative developments aimed at improving construction quality, enhancing the energy efficiency of buildings, and increasing the operational reliability of facilities.
Among the companies presenting their products at KazBuild 2026 for the first time are Philips, Dalmex, Hyundai, Techno Panel, Merkor-PROOF, Fibercon, Alubest Extrusions, Utech Distribution, and Opalubka Leader KZ. Their participation reflects the growing interest of manufacturers in the Kazakhstani market and their commitment to presenting modern solutions to a professional audience.
A dedicated window exhibition, located in a separate pavilion, will occupy a special place within the exhibition. It will bring together manufacturers of profile systems, glazing systems, insulating glass units, components, automated systems, and equipment for the window industry. This format will enable professionals to gain a comprehensive overview of the latest technological solutions and current industry trends.
Particular attention will also be given to domestic manufacturers, including Marrioni and Taudi, showcasing the potential of Kazakhstan’s construction industry. Alongside them, renowned international brands such as Kapelli, Winal, and Wolta will present their products, providing participants with the opportunity to compare various technological solutions and establish new business contacts.
In addition to its large-scale exhibition, KazBuild 2026 will feature a comprehensive business programme dedicated to the key issues shaping the development of Kazakhstan’s construction industry. The programme will focus on government regulation, digital transformation, the construction materials market, innovative technologies, modern urban development, architecture, and sustainable development.
The central event of the opening day will be the plenary session entitled “The New Construction Code, Tax Policy and Digital Regulation: Reforms Transforming Kazakhstan’s Construction Industry”. Experts will discuss the initial outcomes of implementing the new Construction Code, amendments to tax legislation, the digitalization of government regulation, the advancement of BIM technologies, the introduction of machine-readable construction standards and digital building passports, the application of artificial intelligence in design and state expertise, as well as new approaches to ensuring construction quality. Practical industry issues will be the focus of the KazBuild Materials Forum 2026, to be held on September 3 under the overarching theme “Concrete Products, Aerated Concrete and Industrialization: Economy, Quality, Technologies and the Regulatory Agenda for 2026–2030”. The Forum will open with the strategic plenary session “The Market for Concrete and Concrete Products in Kazakhstan: Economy, Regulation, Quality and Industrialization”, where participants will discuss market development, new construction standards, certification, quality control, and the prospects for industrial construction.
The programme will continue with the panel sessions “Autoclaved Aerated Concrete and Eco-Technologies: Innovation, ESG, Ash and Energy Efficiency 2030” and “Thermal Insulation Materials in Kazakhstan: Industry Market Overview and Modern Approaches to Improving Energy Efficiency”. Participants will explore advanced construction materials manufacturing technologies, environmental modernization of enterprises, improvements in building energy efficiency, the implementation of ESG principles, and the development of domestic manufacturing.
A special highlight of the programme will be the KazBuild Urban Future Forum 2026, dedicated to urban development, architecture, and urban planning policy. The Forum will open with the panel session “Alatau City: From Master Plan to Reality”, focusing on the implementation of one of Kazakhstan’s largest urban development projects, integrated territorial development, the creation of smart urban infrastructure, and the establishment of new business, scientific, tourism, and industrial clusters.
The Forum will conclude with the panel discussion “Architecture as Policy: The Kazakhstani Context and Global Experience”, organized with the participation of Zaha Hadid Architects, the KAZGOR Project Academy, and the Union of Architects of Kazakhstan. Experts will discuss the impact of the new Construction Code, the adaptation of international standards to Kazakhstan’s conditions, the implementation of AI and parametric design, as well as the development of international cooperation in architecture and urban planning.
Amid the active modernization of Kazakhstan’s construction industry, KazBuild 2026 will serve as the leading industry platform for Kazakhstan and Central Asia, where the future directions of the construction industry will be shaped and new projects initiated through its international exhibition and comprehensive business programme.
